Jason Elias, PhD

Dr. Jason Elias has been treating OCD for 25 years and trained many of Boston’s best exposure therapists during his tenure as Director of Psychological Services and Clinical Research at the OCD Institute at McLean Hospital (2010-2018). He has since founded CBTeam, an outpatient practice located in Lexington, MA that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the full gamut of anxiety disorders, including OCD and Related Disorders such as Trichotillomania (or hair-pulling). CBTeam’s approach to treatment is evidence-based and relies on cognitive-behavioral models of anxiety to help clients overcome disabling symptoms. Dr. Elias greatly values the lived experience of clients and staff as an important ingredient to compassionate and effective treatment. He is excited to be a part of this event and inspired by Becca’s bravery and creativity.

Jamie Garber, LICSW

Jamie Garber is a licensed independent clinical social worker who specializes in delivering cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to children and adolescents. She is trained in a variety of evidence-based treatments, including the Comprehensive Behavioral Model (ComB) for BFRBs, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE – including ARFID and Failure to Launch applications). Ms. Garber is a PEERS certified provider. The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) provides evidence-based social skills treatment to adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and other socio-emotional problems. Ms. Garber graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Behavior and Health and received her MSW in clinical social work from Simmons University. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and Anxiety & Depression Association of America (ADAA). 

Sue Price, MS, LMHC, NCC

Sue Price grew up with trichotillomania. She started Atlanta’s first trich support group in the 1990s and was a member of the Trichotillomania Learning Center’s Board of Directors. As a result of being involved with TLC, Sue felt called to do more and went back to school to become a counselor. She is now a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Albany, NY, treating Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors.
